• 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup minced onions
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup shortening
  • 12 oz size chili sauce
  • 10 oz size grape jelly

Mix first 9 ingredients. Shape into small meatballs. Melt shortening and brown meatballs on low heat. Remove when cooked and set aside. Heat the chili sauce and jelly together. Stir consistently until jelly melts. Add meatballs and stir until coated. Simmer 30 minutes, uncovered. Makes approximately 5 dozen.
