2 medium-sized oranges, sliced
8 cups hot coffee
Sweetened whipped cream
Stud each orange slice with 4 cloves; pour hot coffee over them and allow to steep for 30 minutes. Discard orange slices and cloves
Reheat coffee. Pour coffee into handsome coffee pot or carafe.
Accompany with bowls of the whipped cream, brown sugar and a shaker of cinnamon so that guests may flavour their coffee as desired.
