• cream of mushroom soup2 to 3 cups fresh mushroom
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup light cream
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper

Slice mushrooms. Cook with onion in butter for 5 minutes. Blend in flour. Add broth. Cook and stir until slightly thickened. Cool slightly. Add cream and seasoning. Heat through and serve.
