1 cup water
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 medium onion, quartered
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp dill
6 large carrots, pared and cut in thick slices
- Bring water and vinegar to boiling. Put in onion, salt, dill, and carrots. Reduce Heat and simmer 10 minutes. Cool.
- Refridgerate liquid until chilled.
- Drain and serve cold.
