Give your vegetable broth a boost with this herbal infusion. Use a tea-ball infuser to enhance the flavor and nutrient content of the broth without clogging it up with unwelcome little bits of cinnamon or black peppercorn.
4″ cinnamon stick
3 tbsp mustard seeds
1 tsp black peppercorns
1 peperoncino, dried
6 cups vegetable broth
Pour the vegetable broth into a pot and bring to a boil. When the liquid is boiling, toss in an infuser full of the other ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.
