• 2 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 19 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 ½ cups chopped pecans

In large bowl, soften cream cheese a bit. In small bowl, mix pineapple (very well drained), onion, green pepper, salt and 1 cup of well chopped pecans. Add pineapple mixture to cream cheese. Mix well with fork. Turn out onto centre of platter. Pat into a mound. Sprinkle remaining 1 ½ cups well chopped pecans to cover mound. Refrigerate for a few hours. Especially good with Sociables crackers. May be frozen.
