2 C. brown sugar, packed

1 C. butter

2 eggs

1 C. sour cream

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. salt

 1 tsp. cloves

½ tsp. cinnamon

3 C. flour

1 ½ C. dates, chopped

1 C. nuts, chopped

 

 

Preheat oven 350°. Cream butter and sugar together. Add unbeaten eggs. Mix well. Add sour cream and vanilla. Mix and sift all the dry ingredients together. Add them to the butter mixture. Then add the nuts and dates. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake 350° 12 to 15 minutes.
