A Chatham woman has been charged for allegedly assaulting her mother.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Regent Street home in Blenheim at around 3 a.m. on Monday after the woman allegedly entered her mother’s bedroom and punched her in the head.
The victim suffered a minor physical injury.
The 26-year-old accused was arrested and is now charged with assault. She has since been released from custody with conditions and an April court date.
