The investigation continues into a deadly crash near Wheatley.
Essex OPP say a lone vehicle crashed into a bridge embankment on Mersea Road 8 just east of County Road 37 Sunday evening and caught fire.
Emergency crews later found the remains of three people inside the vehicle.
Authorities are looking to speak with any witnesses.
