Yesterday was deadly on the 401.
According to the OPP one driver of a tractor trailer involved in the first of two collisions was pronounced dead at the scene.
No name has been released.
That crash took place around 2:30. Two transports and an SUV were involved, there were no other injuries.
A second crash took place about an hour later involving a transport and a pickup.
The pickup driver was taken via helicopter to CKHA with non life threatening injuries.
