The province has officially extended the declaration of emergency across Ontario.
On the advice of the Chief Medical Officer Of Health the province has extended the declaration of emergency to fight COVID-19.
Premier Doug Ford says another 28 days has been added to the emergency orders now until May 12th.
The orders include the continued closure of non-essential workplaces, outdoor amenities, bar and restaurants and continued restrictions on social gatherings of more than five alongside prohibitions against price gouging.
Ford also extended the school closures to May 12th. Originally they were set to reopen May 4th if possible.
Obviously… it’s not possible.
