The province is working to support smaller communities as they grow.
Submissions are now being accepted for the next round of the RED – or rural economic development – Program.
Funding is doled out to successful applicants from not-for-profit groups, Indigenous communities, and rural regions as they work to diversify and grow their local economies.
Applications can be submitted to the province between now and the end of September.
