With just one week to go, officials with the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health alliance say there’s just $250,000 left to go to reach the $6.9 million goal for the Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.
Set to wrap up on May 28th, officials are asking the community to pull together to support the campaign.
“The hard work of the Foundation and the community over the last number of years has really paid off,” says Foundation Executive Director Mary Lou Crowley. “The people of Chatham-Kent have been incredibly supportive, and with their help we continue to make health care better for everyone who calls this area home.”
Launched in 2014, the Future in Focus fundraising campaign supports the purchase of 17 new pieces of equipment for the hospitals in Wallaceburg and Chatham. Fifteen pieces have already been installed, with a large portion of the remaining funds being raised to purchase a new CT scan machine.
