A Brampton driver has been given a stern reminder to keep their eyes on the road.
Provincial Police pulled over a commercial vehicle on the 401 in Chatham-Kent over the weekend after spotting the driver using a hand-held entertainment device.
The 23-year-old is facing several charges, including driving while using a hand-held device, entering inaccurate information on their record, failing to surrender their completed daily inspection report.
Meantime, the commercial vehicle operator, a Brampton-based company, is also facing charges for failing to monitor the driver’s compliance and failing to ensure the daily inspection report is accurately completed.
