DNA evidence has helped lead to an arrest in a months-old investigation. 
Police were initially called to a residence on Mulberry Court in Chatham back in February about a break-in.
Evidence found at the scene was sent off to the Centre of Forensic Science, and eventually leading authorities to a local man.
The 29-year-old suspect was tracked down over the weekend and arrested.
He’ll answer to the charges in court at the end of the month.
