There is no word yet on what sparked a mobile home fire near Bothwell over the long weekend.

Firefighters responded to a blaze on Zone Road 7 shortly after 8:30 the morning of Sunday, February 16, with the mobile home fully engulfed with flames, extending to an attached garage, add-on buildings, and a camping trailer.

Officials say unfortunately two dogs inside the camping trailer perished in the blaze, but no human residents were hurt.

Heavy equipment was eventually brought to the scene to pull apart the collapsed structure and finish dousing the flames.

EMS and Hydro One crews were also on scene.

No dollar figure has been placed on the damage at this point.
