The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Moonstone Crescent home shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday.
When police arrived, a woman reported that her partner had assaulted her on multiple occasions.
As a result, a 36-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault, one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and one count of mischief under $5,000. He was later released from custody with a future court date.
