Domestic Dispute Leads to Charges for Both Parties

Both parties involved in a domestic incident in Chatham are now facing charges.

Chatham-Kent Police say officers responded to a Michener Road address just before 3 yesterday afternoon and say the man involved was already bound by conditions not to associate with the woman following a previous dispute.

The 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with breaking his release conditions.

The 32-year-old woman is also facing charges, arrested after officers found her to be in possession of suspected fentanyl. She’s been charged with facilitating a breach and possession of a controlled substance.

Both people were released with conditions and separate dates in court next month.
