A Camlachie woman is in trouble with the law after a domestic dispute turned violent in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an area of Grand Avenue East for the domestic incident at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities have not released any details about the incident, however, following an investigation, officers located and arrested the accused without incident in Wallaceburg later that morning.
A 27-year-old Camlachie woman is now charged with assault, mischief under $5,000 and theft under $5,000. She has since been released from custody with a future court date.
