It’s back to business for Lambton County’s Medical Officer.

After coming up short as the Liberal candidate in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex in last Monday’s federal election, Dr. Sudit Ranade is returning to his post with Lambton Public Health.

Dr. Christopher Greensmith has been filling in on an acting basis over the last five weeks.

“Dr. Greensmith is a well-respected leader with excellent connections to our local health care partners, and his strong public health background served to make this transition easy,” said Andrew Taylor, General Manager of Public Health Services for the County of Lambton. “His leadership and guidance during Dr. Ranade’s leave has been greatly appreciated.”

Dr. Ranade will resume his role as full-time MOH on Monday.
