Plans are getting back on track for the annual dragon boat races in Wallaceburg.
After three years of pandemic-related cancellations and delays, the 21st Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival will be held Saturday, June 3rd on the Sydenham River.
The annual event is typically seen as the unofficial start of summer, and draws thousands of people to Wallaceburg’s downtown and funds raised through registrations support several local charities.
Early bird registration at a cost of $600 per team runs until April 15. After that date, the entry fee rises to $650.
