Wednesday is your chance to participate in a Dragon’s Den-style event.
The Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board is hold its first Dining in the Den event where local entrepreneurs are pitching their ideas to judges from Chatham-Kent.
Kristy Jacobs from the Planning Board says there are a variety of entrepreneurs who are presenting.
“Without giving away too much information about them, we have an individual who’s pitching a business for video journalism, another one doing income tax, someone with a food-based business who’s coming and talking about some of the unique things they’d like to be doing, we have a pet grooming/retail service, as well as a photographer.” – Kristy Jacobs
The prizes available are $5000 for 1st place, $2000 for second and $1000 for third.
The event gets underway on Wednesday at 1:30 at the Chilled Cork. Tickets are $15 and are available on cktickets.com.
