A special fundraiser tomorrow night will help support those in need in Dresden.

The broasted chicken dinner is being put on by Burns Restaurant and the United Way of Chatham-Kent to support the Dresden Foodbank and Side Streets Youth Centre.

Organizers say the two agencies have experienced an increased need through the pandemic. A portion of funds raised through dinner ticket sales, beverage donations, and non-perishable food donations will support both groups.

Tickets for tomorrow night’s dinner can be purchased at McKellar’s Flowers and Gifts and the Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Centre in Chatham.  The dinners themselves can be picked up at Maple Mutual Insurance on George Street from 4:30 to 6:30 Friday night.
