A Dresden man won’t be getting behind the wheel anytime soon after being pulled over in Lambton County.

The Ontario Provincial Police said officers stopped a vehicle on Oil Heritage Road in Enniskillen Township at around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday.

After speaking with officers, the driver was arrested and taken to the local OPP detachment for further tests.

As a result, a 36-year-old Dresden man is now charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days

The accused has since been released from custody and will answer the charge in court next month.
