Seven local organizations are benefiting from a huge donation from the Dresden Rotary Club.
The Rotary held a Night of Giving last night, and presented groups such as the LCKS Greenhouse, the Dresden Figure Skating Club, the Dresden Christmas Night Market, and the Food Bank with cheques totaling $9,500.
Club President Ken Corlett says the club chose to support organizations not just from Dresden, but also causes across Chatham-Kent as well, with donations also made to the New Animal Shelter and Hope Haven.
