Organizers of the Dresden Terry Fox Run are all smiles with news the local event has topped the list of per capita fundraising in Ontario.
In a recent social media post, organizers said the Dresden event was #1 for per capita dollars raised and made the top 20 list for overall revenue in the province.
“This town is unstoppable,” the post said. “Thanks again for all the support – we can’t wait to get going for 2023 so stay tuned!”
The 2022 Terry Fox Run was held September 18, but donations were still being accepted into the new year. Overall, the Dresden event brought in $70,000.
The 2023 event is slated to take place September 17th in communities across the country.
