A Harwich Township man faces charges following a crash involving an ATV in Blenheim.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to Talbot Street West at around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday after an ATV collided with a parked vehicle.

Upon arrival, police learned the driver was under a Conditional Sentence Order to refrain from buying, possessing or consuming alcohol. However, officers alleged they could smell alcohol on his breath.

As a result, the 41-year-old accused was arrested and is now charged with driving without insurance, driving without a license plate, two counts of driving while suspended, and four counts of driving while prohibited. The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
