A Chatham man has been charged following a collision involving construction equipment.
Shortly after 8:30 Sunday evening, Chatham-Kent police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Park Avenue East.
Authorities say the driver was heading northbound on Creek Road when he lost control of the vehicle and drove into a construction ramp barricaded with pylons and caution tape.
The accused, whom police say showed no signs of impairment, was later charged with careless driving.
