Police are looking to speak with the driver of a vehicle involved in a minor collision with a cyclist in downtown Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the intersection of King Street West and First Street at around 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday following the incident.

Authorities said a vehicle was travelling west on First Street and did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign, bumping the back of a bicycle that was heading north on King Street West.

The driver quickly checked on the cyclist and then left the scene. The cyclist was not injured.
