Driver Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Hwy 40 Crash

The investigation continues into a two-vehicle crash north of Wallaceburg that sent one person to hospital.

According to Lambton OPP, a passenger vehicle and tractor trailer collided at the intersection of Highway 40 and Bentpath Line in St Clair Township shortly after 8:30 Thursday morning.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 31-year-old from Plympton-Wyoming, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the transport was not hurt.
