
A single-vehicle collision has led to impaired driving charges for a Thamesville man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a vehicle was travelling on Bear Creek Road in Camden Township at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday when it left the road and crashed into a ditch.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. He was later arrested after providing two breath samples.
The 22-year-old Thamesville man has been charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. The accused with answer the charges in court next month.
