It may be a while before one Chatham man is invited to take another family drive.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to Manning Drive in Chatham shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday for a report of threats.
Following an investigation, authorities learned that several family members had been travelling together in a vehicle along Charing Cross Road when the driver became agitated. The driver made multiple threats towards those in the vehicle and began driving erratically.
As a result, a 44-year-old Chatham man was arrested and is now charged with four counts of uttering threats. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
