Chatham-Kent Police put their drone to work this weekend to track down three would-be thieves.

Authorities say a Chatham business owner was alerted his security system, which recorded three suspects in his Queens Line compound just before 8:30 Saturday morning.

Officers and the CKPS drone scoured the area and located the trio.

All three are now facing charges of break and enter to commit theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.

One of the men was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

One man was released with conditions and a future court date, while the other two were held in custody for a bail hearing.
