The local drug council says even though marijuana is legal, individuals should still seek help if they’re misusing it.
President Brad Davis says the Chatham-Kent Drug Awareness Council is all about reducing harms associated with drug abuse.
“You need to be mindful of how you are using it. If you thinking you’re starting to lose control in managing it responsibly in your life, it’s probably best to get some help sooner rather than later,” says Davis.
Davis says cannabis use – like alcohol – can be used for enjoyment, but becomes a problem with it begins to negatively affect the user’s life.
