A months-long investigation involving Sarnia Police has led to a pair of arrests in Wallaceburg.

Authorities believe suspects from the GTA had been supplying large amounts of fentanyl and cocaine to residents in Sarnia, with transactions allegedly taking place at a Wallaceburg home.

Officers carried out a search warrant at an Arnold Street residence shortly after 5 o’clock Saturday morning, with two suspects taken into custody.

During the raid, police uncovered roughly $200 worth of fentanyl, $14,857 worth of cocaine, and $9,995 in Canadian currency.

A 23-year-old from Toronto and 21-year-old Ajax man have been charged with drug possession and trafficking offences.

Both of the accused are scheduled to appear in court in Sarnia on April 13th.
