A busy day for members of the Chatham-Kent Police drug and intelligence unit.
Officers searched a property on Grand Avenue East yesterday, seizing over $60,000 worth of drugs, along with several firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammo, and over $11,000 in cash.
A 22-year-old man will answer to numerous charges in court next month.
Meantime, a search of a St Michael Avenue home turned up more than 80-grand in cocaine and about $10,000 worth of steroids.
In that case, a 40-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
