Drug charges have been laid following a traffic stop on the 401.
Provincial Police say the Automated Licence Plate Recognition alerted officers to a suspicious vehicle heading westbound just after 2:30 Wednesday morning.
The driver was stopped just past the Bloomfield Road exit. Authorities say the Chatham resident’s license had been suspended and officers found the accused carrying suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.
The 22-year-old has now been charged with three counts of drug possession, driving while under suspension, and using a plate not authorized for the vehicle.
The suspect will be in court to face the charges in October.
