Impaired driving charges have been laid against a Ridgetown man. 
Emergency crews were called to a parking lot on Victoria Road last night after a man, who’d allegedly been seen driving erratically moments before, crashed into a tree.
The driver was taken to police headquarters, where authorities say he showed twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
The 72-year-old was charged and released with a future court date.
