Charges have been laid after an American truck driver was found behind the wheel with nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
Lambton OPP were called to the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward around 9:30 last night.
The transport driver was actually heading to Buffalo, and authorities say he had unintentionally crossed the border.
While Canadian Border Services inspected the rig, Provincial Police administered a breath test.
The 26-year-old from Texas has been charged and released with a future court date.
