Impaired driving charges have been laid after a single-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Police received a 911 call and were able to trace it to the area of St Philippe’s and Bear Line, where a vehicle was found in the ditch.
The driver was arrested and taken to the police station for testing, and was released with a future court date.
There is some good news though as more drivers seem to be getting the message about drinking and driving.
Five RIDE programs were held across the municipality on Saturday.
In all 464 vehicles were checked with no charges laid.
