Charges have been laid after a man was struck by a vehicle while sitting on an e-bike in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to an address on Princess Street regarding an assault at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Authorities said a 61-year-old man was sitting on a parked e-bike in a front yard when he was hit by a vehicle. It is unknown if the man was injured in the collision.
Officers located and arrested a 40-year-old Chatham man who is now charged with dangerous driving and assault. He was later released from custody with a future court date.
