A Blenheim man is facing several charges following a dispute early this morning.
Officers were called to an Elm Street home just after 1:30 for a domestic disturbance.
Chatham-Kent Police say the man was intoxicated and got into an argument with a woman, allegedly grabbed her by the neck and continued to attack her as she tried to call 9-1-1.
The 34-year-old was arrested and is now facing three counts of assault.
He was taken to police headquarters, released with conditions, and will appear in court June third.
