Elderly Woman Carjacked In Chatham

Police are looking for a suspect following a theft and carjacking in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said on Sunday afternoon, a man stole a set of golf clubs from a local business at an unknown location and fled the scene.

He then went to a parking lot on Baldoon Road at around 4:30 p.m. and pushed an elderly woman to the ground. He then stole her keys and left the parking lot in the woman’s vehicle.

Officers responded to the scene but were unable to locate the vehicle or a suspect.
