The Elgin OPP are investigating a murder that took place in Dutton over the weekend.
Officers were called to a home about 4 am Sunday for a sudden death.
One person was dead and another person sustained non life threatening injuries.
Police have now identified the deceased as 45 year old Bradley Shayne Chrisjohn of the Oneida Nation of the Thames.
The investigation is ongoing with CIB in charge.
Police believe it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
