As schools across the region shift to virtual learning once again, child care centres are preparing to fill the void for working parents.

To help parents of school-aged children who may not be able to support their child’s learning at home, the Ministry of Education will be implementing a targeted emergency child care program for school-aged children.

The program will run at no cost to eligible parents, starting tomorrow and running through January 17th.

Municipal officials say full details, including information on locations, eligibility, and the application process will be released through the Chatham-Kent website – CLICK HERE for more information.
