You might notice a lot of activity at CKHA Wednesday evening but it’s just a test of their Emergency preparedness.

The CKHA is teaming up with Chatham-Kent Police Services and paramedics for a code Silver situation, the term used when there is someone in the hospital armed with a weapon.

This exercise will include officers, staff, physicians, and volunteers. Staff not involved in the simulation will take part in discussions on how to react in this situation.

The event will take place between 6 and 9:30pm Wednesday evening, and officials say there will be no disruption to normal services.
