A number of upgrades are coming to local English Catholic schools.

Trustees with the St Clair Catholic District School Board have given their stamp of approval to $7.4 million in priority capital projects.

Included in the to-do list for the coming year is improved accessibility at Holy Family in Wallaceburg and St Joseph in Tilbury, cafeteria upgrades at Ursuline College, plumbing upgrades at St Anne in Blenheim, and improved play spaces at Holy Family, Monsignor Uyen, and St Angela Merici.

The funding is being provided by the Ministry of Education through its School Condition Improvement and School Renewal Allocation programs.
