Entegrus employees are New York bound to help clean up following a storm in the eastern US.
Fresh off of their return a little over a week ago, crews are returning to New York City to help deal with more than a foot to foot and a half of snow.
This time around, Entegrus will send a crew of 12 from both its Chatham and Strathroy offices, and will travel once again with 4 power line maintainers from Bluewater Power.
“The last two major storms resulted in about 200 000 customer outages,” stated Keith McAllister, Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Entegrus. “The storm warning is in effect until Thursday morning, we will have a better idea of what crews are facing at that time.”
Entegrus is leading the charge of more than 350 mutual aid workers who have been working with local crews there to get the lights turned on for almost a quarter of a million people.
