Chatham-Kent’s local hydro provider is playing the role of Santa Claus just in time for the holidays.
Entegrus has handed out a pair of substantial donations to local organizations supporting children and youth in C-K.
The utility has presented $200,000 to the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent to support the development of a new, expanded facility being built on McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham.
“I am proud of our organization’s longstanding support for the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent,” expressed Jim Hogan, President and CEO of Entegrus. “With construction already underway, this donation builds on our continued commitment to the Centre and the families it serves. We are excited to see this project taking shape and the positive impact it will have on our community.”
Meantime, Entegrus is also donating $10,000 to Linck on behalf of its shareholder, Corix District Energy Holdings. Officials say the funding will support essential services for children, youth, and families in the community, helping Linck enhance its reach and continue offering critical children’s mental health, developmental and at-risk youth services throughout the region.
“Linck is deeply appreciative of this generous support from Entegrus on behalf of Corix,” said TeriThomas Vanos, Executive Director of Linck Child Youth and Family Supports. “This donation will directly impact our ability to provide critical programs and services, helping us ensure children and families in our community have access to the care and resources they deserve.”
