A special environmentally-themed art show is coming up in Chatham later this month.
Imagine McGregor Through the Eyes of Youth is an environmentally-themed art show, designed to engage the residents of Chatham-Kent in thinking about the impacts of climate change and the benefits of restorative practices.
Imagine McGregor is an Urban Stewardship program at the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, which focuses on engaging urban residents of CK in restorative activities throughout the McGregor Creek watershed.
The art, created by local students from Ursuline College Chatham, will be on display at the William Street Cafe, starting with a grand opening and exhibit on January 20th.
The event is “zero-waste,” and will offer beverages and hor d’oeuvres made from locally sourced ingredients.
